BLM approves Chubbuck Mine access road and associated facilities


The Bureau of Land Management today announced approval of an access road and associated facilities on about six public acres adjacent to the existing Chubbuck Mine near Cadiz in San Bernardino County.

With this approval, Braavos, LLC, can construct, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission an access road and associated facilities, including a conveyor system to transport raw materials from the limestone mine to market. The project is approved for 30 years with the possibility of renewal.
