A Florida woman and a Florida sheriff’s office appear to be trading barbs in a viral social media battle over an outstanding warrant and investigative work efforts, respectively.

On Tuesday, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office uploaded a wanted poster on Facebook, requesting the public’s help for information on the whereabouts of Kwanteria “Panky” Alizeyh Richardson, 27.

The poster reads: “Kwanteria Richardson, AKA Alizeyh Richardson AKA Panky, has an outstanding warrant since December 2024 for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.”

That was just the beginning.

In quick succession, a Facebook user identified as Alizeyh Richardson shared the department’s post with a sarcastic caption reading: “Shidddd I ain’t hard to find…do ya job.”

Richardson’s post prompted dozens of additional Facebook users to also share the law enforcement wanted poster – but with an eye toward amusement instead of turning the wanted woman in.

A Facebook user identified as Alizeyh Richardson shares a sheriff’s office’s post with a sarcastic caption (Facebook).

After that, it was the sheriff’s office’s turn.

More Law&Crime coverage: Florida woman allegedly threatens to burn down day care unless foster parent returns her infant daughter

In a since-deleted Facebook post, the agency replied:

Eyyyy Alizeyh Richardson low key, you ate that!

Lucky for you, we are use to those who play “hard to get”.

Real talk, be our Valentine. Slide into our DM’s and we will pick you up in a custom green and white whip. We have jewelry that will fit your wrists perfectly and we have already reserved the best bed and breakfast in town

See you soon

A copy of the sheriff’s office’s emoji-interspersed reply was captured by Tampa Bay-based Fox affiliate WTVT before it was deleted.

The back-and-forth reportedly continued once more.

More Law&Crime coverage: ‘Stole a lighter and pushed her’: Florida woman arrested for allegedly shoplifting at Dollar General and shoving pregnant employee

The Facebook user, identified as Richardson, allegedly shot back, according to Mobile Alabama-based CBS affiliate WKRG.

In what looks to be the final public volley, Richardson allegedly contested the sheriff’s office’s characterization of her initial taunt – insisting that she “high key ate.”

The woman also reportedly said: “y’all mad, now come get me.”

As of this writing, there is not a female inmate with the last name of Richardson in the Alachua County jail.

More Law&Crime coverage: ‘My knee hurts’: Florida woman arrested after allegedly calling 911 over 30 times in a single year

Law&Crime reached out to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office for additional details on this story but no response was immediately forthcoming at the time of publication.

The FBI is investigating text messages sent to female law professors, which complained that women are outperforming men in law school.

Law.com has the story, noted by Above the Law.

One of the recipients, Victoria Haneman, a professor at the Creighton University School of Law, posted a screenshot of one of the texts to X, formerly known as Twitter. She received the text Feb. 25.

The sender asked whether he has reached Haneman and then said: “Law school isn’t fair for us men anymore, women always outperform us nowadays.”

After Haneman asks for the sender’s identity, the sender said: “I admit you women have clearly won the battle of the sexes, us men are the losers,” as well as “It’s not fair” and “Will I get in trouble if I say who I am.”

Several commenters said they had also received the messages, which one described as “super creepy.”

A public safety official at Creighton told Law.com that it is working with the FBI to investigate.

Law.com reports that law professors at nine law schools have reportedly received the messages, along with a female law student and four undergraduate professors.
